After an 11-year hunt to bring the rare Silvertip Christmas Tree to Baltimore, it feels only right that all of our energy, and all of our magic, come together on our Acre of Wonder.
We are excited to share that we have consolidated our offices and shopping experience to our Walther Gardens location and will no longer be opening our Bolton Hill space. This move allows us to further grow what makes this place so special — our love of curious finds, plants, community, and the immersive experience created throughout our 12 curated shoppes.
With an 1885 farmhouse, a charming cottage, greenhouse, gardens, potting shed, our Acre of Wonder, and the oldest snowball stand in the country, The Margaret Cleveland at Walther Gardens & Nursery is a beautiful blend of old and new — a destination where history, creativity, and now the long-awaited Silvertips all come to life.

With so many stories to tell, we are here for the curious & inquisitive, the thoughtful and engaged.
Founded by Christopher Heller and Ryan Sirois Heller, The Margaret Cleveland takes root from its namesake, Christopher’s grandmother, Margaret [Margie] Cleveland. Growing up with her many stories & artifacts of the families world travel, Christopher discovered the beauty and wonder of personal artifacts. Experiences and memories infused into treasures and keepsake collections acquired over a lifetime, shared with those they forge meaningful connections along their journey.
And with their own family, the Hellers’ travel the world as Creative Directors and owners of the award-winning brand development studio, helium creative, where storytelling is the heartbeat of all things. Through their travels, the Hellers’ have discovered bespoke art, cultural objects, unique furniture, and curiosities that each hold a narrative.
