The Peggy, Gourmet Snowballs
As the oldest snowball stand in the nation, The Peggy at Walther Gardens has been serving Baltimore for over a century with a tradition rooted in nostalgia, craftsmanship and community. Originally established in 1922, this historic stand continues the legacy of one of Baltimore’s most beloved summertime traditions while introducing a more elevated, gourmet approach to the classic snowball experience.
Home of the original Egg Custard snowball, we still make the iconic flavor from scratch just as Mrs. Me-Ma Sinsz did more than 100 years ago. Every snowball is crafted using real ingredients, pure cane sugar and thoughtfully developed recipes that create a richer, more authentic flavor you can truly taste.
