Discover the transformative and mystic practices of the Andes – where nature and spirit meet. Shamans are the indigenous spiritual leaders of the Andes who live in reciprocity with the earth’s bountiful gifts, connect with the spirit in everything and come together in ceremony as a sacred honoring. During this introductory session, we will explore the foundations of Andean Shamanism, a living tradition rooted in harmony, reciprocity and luminosity. Learn the path of discovering your healed true self.
Guests will can participate in a full moon despacho following the workshop. This sacred fire ceremony is an amazing opportunity to experience Andean Shamanic traditions first-hand.

The Andean shamanic path is steeped in ceremonies, join us as we create a beautiful full moon ayni despacho. A despacho is a shamanic prayer bundle created in a sacred manner as a mandala that holds offerings of nature and prayers of the participants and then offered to a fire. An ayni despacho becomes a living prayer that opens the way for us to come into reciprocity, or the right relationship, with the world around us. A Despacho ceremony we become in balance with the physical and spirit world, where we attract exciting new possibilities to our lives. Once the Despacho has been prepared it will be offered in fire ceremony in deepest love and gratitude and the prayers will be sent to Spirit!
Kathleen Lester has been a Mesa carrier since 2012, studying with Pamela Panneton of Land Spirits and Jose Louis Herrara of the Andean Research Institute. Kathleen founded the Animal Reiki Alliance in 2010 and animals and the earth have been her guides and partners throughout her journey. Leslie Lloyd has dedicated over 20 years to the healing arts, seamlessly blending her expertise as an acupuncturist, life coach, and mesa carrier within the Andean Shamanic tradition. Her passion lies in guiding individuals toward realizing their highest potential. With genuine compassion, a touch of humor, and unconditional love, she creates a nurturing space for transformation and growth.
Ryan Heller
Ryan Heller is a Creative Director and Artist with a passion for cultivating transformative experiences that weave art, integrative healing, and storytelling. He is a Mesa carrier within the Andean Shamanic tradition, a Reiki practitioner, and an intuitive healer. Through his combined work within both the visual and healing arts, Ryan has an endless passion to “live to create to inspire”.
Kathleen & Leslie will be teaching a 10-month journey to self-discovery starting in November 2025, delving into the heart of healing self, holding space, and assisting others on their journey. Becoming a Mesa carrier and Paquo in a beautiful Allyu (community).
